On behalf of Rotary Club’s World Heart Day Celebration on 26th October 2024, Dr. Priya delivered a speech on “Healthy Lifestyle for a Healthy Heart” at MGR Janaki College of Arts and Science, Adyar. The event was well attended by Rotarians, faculty and students of the college.
The key message of the speech was to follow the 5 pillars of heart health on a daily basis: (1) Physical fitness (2) Emotional resilience (3) Quality consumption (4) Good sleep and (5) Sense of purpose. Dr. Priya engaged the audience in an interactive session, demonstrated simple but important exercises and encouraged questions before closing the session.
